Kitchen Porter

Mulberry House, Ongar Essex is a busy Wedding venue with 23 bedrooms and a beautiful garden room restaurant.

We are looking for a kitchen porter / assistant to join our kitchen team. This will involve early, mid and late shifts and involve a lot of weekends due to the nature of our wedding business.

Job responsibilities:

Kitchen cleaning to include, cleaning down the kitchen, mopping floors, cleaning fridges and supporting the chef team in ensuring we have a 5* EHO score.

General Kitchen porter duties, washing up, cutlery, plates and pans. With the aid of a commercial machine.

Food preparation, assisting in preparation of food for our restaurant and banqueting menus with the chefs.

You will need to pass an online level 2 food safety and health and safety training before working in our kitchens. We provide all details for this online course when we send out all relevant HR paperwork.
