Sous Chef

We are currently looking for an exceptional applicant looking to be our next Sous Chef.

We host around 130 weddings per year. We are looking for a sous chef is passionate about banqueting. We are very popular for afternoon teas, our tea room is open 6 days a week. You need to have an interest in pastry and be keen to develop this offering too.

Responsible for out HACCP policy

Maintaining our 5* EHO standards

Ordering and working with our local suppliers

Menu Engineering and supporting our Head Chef

Costings and maintaining our budgeted GP margin.

Although we have guest accommodation we offer this mainly for our events / weddings on a Bed and Breakfast rate.

We are no longer offering a restaurant facility to our residents and we no longer wish to focus on this. We want all our focus and attention on offering great weddings, events and afternoon teas.

Hours – Straight shifts, rotas will change weekly around the business and also the team. But generally you will get 2/3 evenings at home with your family sometimes more out of wedding season.

As a family owned business we really like to look after and invest in our team along with the product. We are not chasing profits for shareholders. We really want a happy, passionate and over achieving team.

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
