Nestled amongst the Essex countryside this Boutique hotel offers accommodation in both the original Georgian House or in our courtyard rooms set within the beautiful grounds.
Single, Twin, Family and Double rooms are available with the capacity to host 55 guests overnight.
All our accommodation includes breakfast which is served in our stunning Garden Room Restaurant overlooking the picturesque lake and all rooms have private bathrooms, televisions, internet and telephone access, a daily maids service and tea/coffee making facilities. For anything else you require please let our 24 hour front desk know!
Whilst staying with us do take time to enjoy the 22 acres of grounds, visit the resident alpacas and black swans or indulge in afternoon tea on the terrace.

Kick off your big day in style! Our beautifully renovated Honeymoon Suite awaits you on the first floor – the perfect romantic retreat for your wedding night. Also on this level, you’ll find private changing suites for both wedding parties to get ready and soak in the excitement of the morning. These suites are available from 8am, and from 12 noon, our cozy first-floor lounge opens up for you to relax, mingle, or pop some bubbly before the celebrations begin!

The Georgian house boasts seven classic double bedrooms spread across the two upper floors which all overlook the scenic grounds.
In the first floor rooms (Apple, Pear and Cherry) you will discover quirky, boutique décor in these newly decorated spaces.
Our second floor rooms (Briar, Honeysuckle and Cornflower) are the larger selection of rooms able to accommodate travel cots and rollaway beds.

Situated in our beautiful grounds our courtyard rooms are suitable for single, double or family occupancy. The newly designed rooms offer stylish décor along with contemporary bathroom facilities, including walk in showers and double sinks. Technology within the rooms also include Samsung televisions and side lamps with built in mobile charging stations. Bergamot is our accessible room, with wider doors and a ramp for wheelchair access. The bathroom has handrails and a wide shower. A shower chair can be provided if required – just let us know. Two of our courtyard rooms are dog-friendly and can be requested during the booking stage.

With our fabulous countryside location, Mulberry House is the perfect dog-friendly venue in Essex.
Two of our courtyard rooms are dog-friendly and can be requested during the booking stage. These rooms are on the ground floor of our affordable courtyard bedrooms, providing easy access to your car and the 22 acres of Mulberry grounds.
A small charge of £15 per dog per night applies and includes a dog bed in the room, dog bowls, some lovely doggie treats and a dog towel.
You are welcome to relax on the patio area with your dog or exercise in the large grounds (designated large fields). Although we kindly ask that dogs are not taken inside the main hotel and are kept on a lead at all time.
