We absolutely loved photographing a wedding at Mulberry House.The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that create the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The grounds are fantastic, offering so many gorgeous spots for natural, romantic shots throughout the day.The staff were brilliant — professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience run so smoothly. Amazing location. It is quiet, cosy and comfortable.

We stayed one night at this hotel as we had a cremation to attend the following day and wanted to avoid a long journey.We were in one of the lovely recently refurbished Courtyard rooms . It was very quiet , bed comfy and great bathroom.Breakfast was equally as good . The staff were all very friendly , polite and professional . They really went the extra mile .Couldn’t fault this hotel and would highly recommend!

EMA Patient transport were recently at this fantastic venue, where we transported a care home resident from Luton, to attend their Daughters wedding. The venue is simply amazing, set in wonderful grounds, with brilliant staff!

After being unexpectedly displaced by another hotel that fell well below acceptable standards, we arrived here by chance — and it felt unmistakably like destiny.From the very first phone call, the lady at reception was extraordinary. Poised, intuitive, and effortlessly gracious, she took control of the situation with calm authority and genuine care. The heating was switched on in advance, every detail anticipated, and upon arrival we were welcomed into a space filled with warmth, light, and an immediate sense of calm — a rare and beautiful thing.We are here on business, and after a long day of investing, the contrast was profound. As owners of a business founded on luxury, experience, and excellence, we recognise when something is truly special. This hotel doesn’t simply meet those values — it embodies them. Every interaction, every detail, every moment reflects intention, refinement, and pride in service.True luxury is never loud. It is felt. And this hotel oozes it — from the atmosphere to the people who bring it to life. The philosophy of going the extra mile is clearly ingrained here, and as we firmly believe, that mile is never crowded. We recently got married here, so this review is as a wedding venue. And it's flawless. We were treated amazingly well throughout the entire booking process and on the day itself. Catered to all our requests, excellent communication with Chloe throughout planning and Nicola for stuff on the day. Lovely surroundings, loads of car parking, this venue has it all. Mulberry House is a fantastic multi-award winning wedding venue set in the heart of the Essex countryside. As a wedding photographer and videographer, I really appreciate the fantastic facilities and high level of service provided by the staff for their brides and grooms to host their weddings.It's a wonderful location with a beautiful ornamental lake, complete with idyllic bridge, a cute stock of wild fowl like geese and ducks, and even Alpaca neighbours!The house is beautifully kept, with a couple of spacious rooms for preparation, a lovely bridal suite, gardens, air conditioned ceremony room (or on the lawn at the beautiful gazebo). The management are constantly improving the provisions for their clients, and it really shows.There is a large marquee for your wedding breakfast and plenty of rooms for your guests to stay. The venue has ample opportunities for entertaining. The food is top quality and for a wedding couple, you couldn't ask for more.Visit Mulberry House, take in the history and then just book it. You won't be disappointed!
