We absolutely loved photographing a wedding at Mulberry House.The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that create the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The grounds are fantastic, offering so many gorgeous spots for natural, romantic shots throughout the day.The staff were brilliant — professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience run so smoothly. EMA Patient transport were recently at this fantastic venue, where we transported a care home resident from Luton, to attend their Daughters wedding. The venue is simply amazing, set in wonderful grounds, with brilliant staff!

We recently got married here, so this review is as a wedding venue. And it's flawless. We were treated amazingly well throughout the entire booking process and on the day itself. Catered to all our requests, excellent communication with Chloe throughout planning and Nicola for stuff on the day. Lovely surroundings, loads of car parking, this venue has it all. Mulberry House is a fantastic multi-award winning wedding venue set in the heart of the Essex countryside. As a wedding photographer and videographer, I really appreciate the fantastic facilities and high level of service provided by the staff for their brides and grooms to host their weddings.It's a wonderful location with a beautiful ornamental lake, complete with idyllic bridge, a cute stock of wild fowl like geese and ducks, and even Alpaca neighbours!The house is beautifully kept, with a couple of spacious rooms for preparation, a lovely bridal suite, gardens, air conditioned ceremony room (or on the lawn at the beautiful gazebo). The management are constantly improving the provisions for their clients, and it really shows.There is a large marquee for your wedding breakfast and plenty of rooms for your guests to stay. The venue has ample opportunities for entertaining. The food is top quality and for a wedding couple, you couldn't ask for more.Visit Mulberry House, take in the history and then just book it. You won't be disappointed!

We got married here on Jan 31st 2026. The team were absolutely brilliant from the get go and they supported us so well on the day. The venue offers a great mix of old and new, with a historic house, modern marquee and very recently refurbished ceremony room. Nothing was too much for the team and everyone said what an amazing wedding it was. We had a great time celebrating there and can't wait to return at a warmer time for their afternoon tea offering!

If I could award 10 stars I would! What a fantastic venue, the staff work so hard and nothing is too much trouble.We had our wedding at Mulberry House yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The location is stunning, the rooms are beautiful (especially the honeymoon suite), the grounds are spectacular and the food amazing.I would wholeheartedly recommend Mulberry House if you want the most special of days.

A beautiful wedding day to remember We had our wedding here on Monday (1.12.25) and it was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are stunning, staff are beyond helpful and the beds themselves are another level of comfort! The location is a little out of the way, but that's what we loved about the venue. We recommend a Monday wedding, the venue was completely ours all day. Everyone kept complimenting the food, even now, days later, people are still mentioning the food!

Amazing Wedding From start to finish, we had the best wedding experience at Mulberry House. The staff was extremely detailed, thorough, and overall helpful leading up to our day and the day itself. A special shoutout to Chloe, Nicola, and Claire for all their hard work helping with our wedding. All of our guests raved about the venue and all the thoughtful attention to detail Mulberry provided. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience.

We got married at Mulberry House on the 16th of October 2025, and it was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. Jo made the booking process so easy — she was clear, professional, and explained every step in detail, which gave us so much confidence right from the start.||Our final planning meeting was with Chloe, who couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming. She walked us through every part of our wedding plans and instantly put our minds at ease. Her calm reassurance and detailed explanations made us feel completely confident that our day would run smoothly — and it truly did.||Before our wedding, we also met Claire, who was absolutely wonderful. From the very first conversation, she was warm, genuine, and genuinely excited for our big day. She listened so carefully to our ideas and vision, and we immediately knew she cared deeply about making it everything we’d hoped for. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she made us feel like we were her top priority from start to finish.||On the day itself, we were first greeted by Kim, who was so lovely and set the perfect tone for the morning. She went above and beyond in every possible way, keeping everything running smoothly, supporting us both throughout the day, and doing it all with such grace and calm. She made sure every little detail was perfect, kept the groomsmen in line, and made everyone feel cared for and relaxed. A Wedding day that we will never forget Me and my now wife booked Mulberry house for our wedding day and from start to finish, they were absolute amazing. They are very professional, informative and give plenty of options leaving the decision to yourselves as couples, whilst also making good recommendations.
We would like to give Claire a special mention for going above and beyond for our special day, ensuring everything was were it needed to be, bringing canope's out for me and my bride whilst photographs were taken, even a pizza and bottle of champagne outside our bedroom door for when the night ended. She did so much for us, things we did not even think about and just took care of it. Absolutely amazing.

Another special shout out is to Chloe for extremely good communication, understanding and very clear information about the day.

If you are thinking about booking a wedding venue, especially in Essex, do not rule out Mulberry House. The staff are amazing, the grounds and venue speak for themselves and the value for money, especially in this current financial times, just cannot be beat. You will not regret it.

We loved our time at Mulberry House and look forward to returning for their special events with BBQ's and afternoon tea's.

Wedding venue Mulberry House is simply stunning! The location is beautiful.

We had our wedding here recently and had the most amazing day. The staff are incredible and work so hard to make couples days so special and nothing is too much trouble. From start to finish we have had an awesome experience.

The food is exceptional and the chefs are so accommodating with food allergies. Bar staff were brilliant and worked their socks off all day and night.

The rooms were spotless and beds incredibly comfortable.

We would recommend this venue to everyone!

Our Wedding 24.11.25 Me and my husband went to visit mulberry house in November 2024, in the hopes we would find our wedding venue.
We were greeted by lovely Jo who was wonderful. After seeing the beautiful grounds and meeting the lovely staff we decided to book. Throughout the planning process Chloe & Nicola was fantastic, super informative and professional.
Nothing was ever a bother for them.
Reception were brilliant in booking the rooms and informing our guests of payments etc..
A few of my guests had allergies and the staff worked really hard to make sure there was no cross contamination on the day.
On the day of our wedding I was met by my wedding coordinator Claire. On the day I was very nervous and she was very kind and patient with me. She made sure our whole day ran as smooth as possible with no fault & made sure I had a glass of Prosecco in my hand straight after the ceremony.
Our food was beautiful and all our guests said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Catrina was with me throughout the day to work alongside Claire and she was just so lovely it made the whole experience that more special.
At the end of the night we were left with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate between us.
Thank you mulberry house for the most wonderful hospitality & perfect venue.
We will return in the future.

Beautiful wedding venue Me and my partner booked Mulberry House for our wedding which we had in November and it was the most perfect day! The ground are beautiful and the staff looked after us throughout our whole experience. Chloe was our wedding specialist who we were in touch with throughout all the planning, making sure everything was planned to perfection then Claire looked after us all day, nothing was ever too much trouble and she made sure the whole day run so smoothly. The best venue & team! I went to afternoon tea here in April 2024 dragged my hubby to be back a week later and we booked our wedding for 20th November 2025 without seeing any other venues I just knew this was the one. The whole day ran seamlessly it was incredible, can’t thank Chloe enough on planning side and Claire and the team enough on the day nothing was too much trouble 10/10 would do it again with Mulberry. Our wedding day... We held our wedding on 30th November 2025 at Mulberry House and honestly, we are so happy we chose this venue.

Every single staff member showed the highest level of care and professionalism, and they all went above and beyond even for the smallest things, from the day we first looked around right up to the big day. No ask ever felt too much of a burden, and they were always available to help - whoever you asked a question of seemed to know what was going on at all times which made us feel like we were super important and valued, and this didn’t just go for us. The entire bridal party and the guests were kept on schedule and informed thanks to our wonderful co-ordinator, Claire, (who even brought me canapes outside during the photos as she realised I hadn’t eaten anything yet). We also had some very elderly guests who were kept warm and full of tea by the reception team when things got too chilly for them outside.

The venue itself is stunning and very photogenic, inside and out, from the Copper room where we held the ceremony and breakfast, through the Garden room to the Marquee. The honeymoon suite itself is very spacious and comfortable (and perfect for your first night as husband and wife!)
The Christmas decorations are a wonderful touch too if you get married during their Christmas period as we did, and complimented our own theme perfectly.

The food was delicious and cooked perfectly with everyone’s preferences catered for, from religious requirements to how well done their meat was cooked.

Honestly, if you’re considering Mulberry House for your wedding you won’t regret it!

From the moment we first visited Mulberry House, we just knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. My step daughter married the love of her life here on 15 October 2025 and with both her and my new son in law coming from New Zealand, her father and I had the joy of arranging the bulk of the wedding, and I have nothing but high praise for Mulberry House who made this a smooth and enjoyable experience, particularly Chloe and Claire. We booked our wedding at Mulberry House, back in April 2023… Our big day was on 4th October 2025!||The team are nothing short of amazing! ||From initial bookings, invoice reminders, communication of the day, various open days, wedding menu tastings, planning and organisation (with Chloe) and then the main day itself (with Claire and Jo as coordinators).. what a responsive, professional, empathetic and kind team! ||The day ran smoothly, the team listened to our visions and made sure these were achieved. |They welcomed all our guests with open arms and ensured we were all having the best day possible.||It speaks volumes, when the whole of the mulberry house team, are bursting with pride to work there! ||What a venue, what a team, what a positive atmosphere!

We had our wedding day at Mulberry House on the 26th September. From the moment we first viewed Mulberry house, we knew it was the place to have our special day. We were taken in by the picturesque scenery, delicious food and friendly staff. |We had the pleasure of having both Claire and Jo be a part of our big day and between them, they made the whole day run seamlessly. My Daughter had her fairytale wedding here 06/10/2025. A fantastic setting for the whole wedding package and overnight stay with everything you could wish for breakfast the following morning. All the staff here were excellent, I couldn’t fault anything.
