Our Wedding at Mulberry House We got married at Mulberry House on Saturday 9 November 2024 and had the most amazing day. The team at Mulberry House are exceptional – They go above and beyond at every stage – From the first visit to planning meetings and to the day itself.

The Mulberry Suite, Cedar Suite, Marquee and Grounds are just “picture perfect” and we got lots of positive compliments about the venue. There is plenty of on-site accommodation that guests could stay, which made our wedding even more special by being able to have breakfast with our guests the next morning.

From planning the big day to the wedding day itself all the staff involved are highly professional, friendly and accommodating. It made the planning and the day stress-free and everything we could hope it to be – A special mention to Chloe, Claire and Jo who were amazing and helped our day become exactly what we wanted.

We could not recommend Mulberry House enough to any future couples – It really is the most perfect venue we only wish we could come back and re-live our wedding day again! Thank you again to ALL the staff at Mulberry House

A Magical Mulberry House - a Stunning Wedding Venue for all Seasons We recently got married at Mulberry House on Sunday 3rd November 2024 and it was truly the most magical and memorable day, which we will both cherish in our hearts forever.
The stunning and picturesque grounds are beautiful and truly showcased an amazing wedding venue.
Every member of staff were so friendly, kind and accommodated our needs. This, in turn, made everyone feel relaxed and happy on our wedding day and made it a more memorable experience. We would both like to say a huge thank you to the Mulberry House Dream Team of Georgia and Chloe, the event organisers, Claire and Jo, who ensured that the whole day ran smoothly with an exceptional eye for detail and great customer service as they looked after both us and our wedding guests. We both did not want the day to end as it was so perfect. Also a special thank you needs to go to the Mulberry House Suppliers - TJ Florist, Lisa at Cake Cuisine, Jo at J. Hughes Wedding Stationery and Gail at Bridal Hair & Makeup. A big thank you also to Mark at Willow and Lace Photography. Their dedicated and professional efforts were greatly appreciated in showcasing our wedding day and making a truly magical and perfect day.
Everyone was impressed with the wedding breakfast. The food was delicious and made with quality ingredients.
The honeymoon suite was comfortable and provided everything and we appreciated the bottle of prosecco on ice and the freshly cut wedding cake provided in our room. The breakfast the following morning was very enjoyable.
We both cannot recommend Mulberry House enough. Excellent venue, exceptional service and great people. It felt like one big family who welcomed us wholeheartedly. Thank you for making our day so special and perfect and we will definitely be visiting again soon for an Afternoon Tea. Steve & Sharon

Every single staff member was so lovely and accommodating - we truly felt at ease knowing that everything was in hand and the day ran so smoothly. Special thanks to Claire and Jo - the dream team! They helped set everything up and it looked perfect and was my vision come to life, and they were truly there for not only us as a couple but our family too - nothing was too much to ask. They were looking out for us on the day making sure we felt okay and that we were where we needed to be. And huge thanks to Chloe who was our point of contact leading up to the day and talked us through everything, answered every question and eased our worries. The day was such a whirlwind and I was wishing it would never end! The staff thought of everything to make our day special - even going as far as putting wedding cake, card box and prosecco in our room for when we got back in the evening. Beautiful honeymoon suite, and separate getting ready room too with an amazing breakfast spread. ||As a lesbian couple we had struggled elsewhere to find a venue to accommodate 2 brides - but Mulberry had the facilities to make us both feel special and have our own spaces to get ready that weren't too gendered or typical 'bride' and 'groom' spaces. We felt completely accepted and welcomed by everyone at Mulberry House. ||I could go on and on but in short if I could rate more than 5 stars I would - the venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service is top quality. It felt like one big family who welcomed us with open arms. Thank you for making our day perfect!

Beautiful venue with a fantastic team We can’t recommend Mulberry House enough as a wedding venue. From start to finish they were responsive and flexible, and the whole team were kind, supportive and professional. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning, and all our guests loved their rooms and meals. Our huge thanks go to Claire, Jo and Faisal who made sure our day went perfectly, they were so on it that we even ran ahead of schedule! We will definitely be back to visit and would recommend Mulberry House to any couple looking for the perfect venue.

We also had a wedding taster evening to sample the dishes which were all fantastic. Half of the wedding party stayed the evening before and thanks to Faz for looking after everyone with taxis and drinks, he is an outstanding asset to your team. Now onto the wedding day itself….just perfect. Claire was amazing setting the ceremony room up and making the Mulberry Suite look wonderful for the wedding breakfast, we couldn’t have wished for anything more! The food was so good! So many positive reactions from our guests! Especially the soup! Most said it was the best wedding meal they had eaten. The waiting staff and bar staff all fabulous! Couldn’t do enough for us throughout the day! Sammy and her team really are amazing and Faz again was fantastic. The evening …. Again amazing! With the team accommodating everything we had ordered. Evening Buffett was great and served hot which was perfect. We had so many positive comments from our guests about service, venue and grounds. The whole venue was beautiful . My daughter used Mulberry House as the location of her wedding and we all had a fantastic day and evening.The venue is great and the effort everyone puts in to make it a special day was exceptional and nothing was too much effort and the way they very gently bossed us into the right place at the right time shows how experienced they are at making the wedding day something to remember, and the dancing bar staff in the evening only added to the atmosphere.The only learning point would be, when I was ordering drinks at the bar, I’m not “darling” and putting the drinks on the bar with a little more care would be appreciated, it’s Mulberry House, not a pub in Harlow!

The whole proceeds of wedding planning was made so easy with the support from Claire, Jo, Natalie and Chloe.
All emails were answered pretty much straight away and the lovely ladies on reception were always so helpful if we called up!
Nothing was too difficult for the team. A fussy eater bride no problem. There were so many options to choose from and Nick, the head chef couldn’t be more accommodating! So thank you.
The wedding taster evening was fantastic! Live entertainment and the chance to sample the dishes you can’t quite decide between!
The wedding day itself . The most perfect blur!
The girls arrived at 8am, make up and hair team ready to go! We had so much space! A getting ready room and breakfast room! Breakfast rolls and mini hasbrowns washed down by pink fizz! The boys had their own space too to get ready away from the girls! Perfect!
Claire and Jo made every part of my vision come true! From setting the setting the ceremony room up with the little details to making the wedding dinner room beautiful! Couldn’t have wished for anything more!
The food was ON POINT! So many positive reactions from our guests! Especially the brownie!
The waiting staff and bar staff all fabulous! Couldn’t do enough for us throughout the day! Sammy and her team really are amazing! Harley too. He’s served us many times at various trips at Mulberry and it was a pleasure to have him on our wedding day! He was great!
The evening . Again amazing! Beautiful set up. Our centre pieces were moved from one room to another. No grief for the staff at all! They always saved us one of everything (even if we didn’t get round to trying it all) 🙈
The whole venue was pristine! Beautifully clean. Toilets and rooms spotless! Sammy, Linda and all the ladies you’re a real token! The grounds were also kept beautifully! And the black swans made an appearance which was extra special!

Overall the day went super fast but it really was the perfect blur!

Amazing Experience My sister had her wedding at this Venue and everything was extraordinary. The day flowed wonderfully, the setting was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond, especially Claire.

My partner and I also stayed overnight at the venue in a dog-friendly room. We did have to pay extra compared to their standard rooms, but it was worth it. The room was modern, clean and had plenty of space. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and check out is at 10:30.

Overall, I would highly recommend this venue to stay and for a wedding.

The Best Wedding Venue in Essex We had our wedding at Mulberry House September 2024 and it was the best wedding I could have asked for and that was all thanks to the expertise and skills of everyone at Mulberry House.
From the day we arranged to book our wedding with Mulberry House, they offered tremendous support and helped at every stage. They are very professional and incredibly organised with the lead up to your wedding and spot on running the day for you. I could trust them completely.
All my guests had a brilliant time and complimented how wonderful, warm and brilliant the staff were as well as how gorgeous and well kept the grounds are.
The food was amazing too. Everything was just brilliant!

George and Becca 04.10.2024 What can we say!! From the moment we stepped foot in this venue we knew this was where we wanted to host our special day. From the start the Mulberry house team were prepared to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. From initial meetings, open days, menu tasting, to our final call, the team were constantly on hand to offer advice and guidance. They were kind, professional and of course showed us their good sense of humour. On the day it really felt like they knew our vision - nothing was too big or small and they completely eased all of our worries. We had the pleasure of speaking with Chloe throughout our planning process and on the day we had Clare, Jo, Sammy and Fasil to see us through - and what a fantastic team they were. Not only did we feel well taken care of, but our guests did too and they had nothing but praise for the Mulberry house team. We cannot express enough how much we appreciate and love the team at this venue - they made our day one to remember, and we will never forget all they did for us, our families and friends.

The food was of course amazing and all of our guests were well catered for. We had some guests with special requirements, and the team ensured they were well looked after. The feedback from our guests regarding the food was second to none. The wedding breakfast went off without a hitch and the food was served timely and was of course very tasty. We all enjoyed the tequila rose cheesecake (with the additional shot of course). Our evening guests loved the food from the food shack which added a special touch to the day.

Of course we cannot forget to mention how stunning the venue is. The house/ rooms are amazing with all the small details thought of. The grounds are well kept and our guests were able to roam at their leisure to admire its beauty. Not only do we thank the front of house team - but also the caterers, gardeners, bar staff, housekeepers and reception team - you guys are all amazing!

What a fantastic team - we will be sure to come back to visit!

A perfect wedding at Mulberry House - thank you A couple of days ago my daughter got married at Mulberry House. The venue was fantastic, the staff so dedicated to make their day perfect. I went fully expecting to help set up on the day but the wedding coordinators had it fully in hand and followed my daughters wishes exactly. A special thank you to Jo and Clair who made the day so special for my daughter and her now wife. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing and every member of staff were wonderful- we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The food was wonderful and piping hot and the service excellent. On top of that the sun was shining! All in all a fabulous day. Thank you again Mulberry House xx

Great venue for a wedding. The staff are amazing and make everything easy and special. The grounds are lovely you couldn't ask for a better location and venue. Old lovely house in the country which does lovely food and afternoon teas. Old fashioned rooms but suit the house well

The perfect venue for our dream wedding! (With incredible vegan food!) We had the absolute best wedding day thanks to the Mulberry House Team. We couldn’t have picked a better venue! All of our guests were amazed by the beautiful grounds and the ease at which the day proceeded, and the general treatment by Mulberry House Team. Our guests continue to say they have never seen a couple enjoy and relax so much on their wedding day and a lot of that was down to the amazing staff. Throughout the whole planning process, we felt cared for and looked after, even with bumps and unforeseeable problems along the way, which the Mulberry House Team tackled amazingly! Special shout out to them for holding our hand through the process as we were planning the wedding from another country.

I myself am vegan, and my husband is a chef, so we wanted a venue that could make the most bangin’ vegan food - and boy did they deliver!! Even our most meat-loving guests were blown away by the menu. It was INCREDIBLE!

We both said immediately the next day that we wanted to do it all over again! That’s a testament to everyone involved in making it such an amazing, special day.

What a superb day at our granddaughter's wedding. The venue couldn't be better and the staff were so friendly, polite and attentive. Our room was great, breakfast was very nice, would definitely recommend. Superb grounds so well maintained, and the alpacas created great photo opportunities.

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to the whole team at Mulberry House for all of your hard work on the wedding day as well as over the last 8 months of planning.We had a few challenges during the day (specifically with the unexpected weather!), but with your support, experience and professionalism we made a wonderful day for K&P. King Wedding. 06/09/24.|Our Son got married on the above date.We knew we had invited the right guests for a good time & Party We sure did !! |Mulberry house where do you start !!!! The grounds and gardens are picture perfect Make sure you visit the Alpacas !!!.The weather behaved and couple got there wish to marry outside Beautiful!!! The House itself is full of character. Rooms were great too.Breakfast was lovely too. Last but not least The Staff . What an amazing job they ALL do. You get 1 shot at it it's very personal to each couple a lot of pressure & responsibility.
