Mulberry House is a Multi-Award winning Wedding Venue set in 22 acres of stunning grounds in the Essex countryside.
Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 130 guests and you have the choice to say ‘I Do’ in either our beamed Cedar Suite or outside at our Essex Countryside, Lakeside Gazebo.
Following your ceremony guests can take in the breath-taking views of the grounds and lake in our floor to ceiling window lined Garden Room and Extension during your drinks reception whilst you explore the willow trees, wildflower meadows, lakes and ancient oak trees that all provide the perfect backdrops for your wedding photos.
Wedding receptions can take placed in either our Mulberry Suite or our starlit Marquee, both spaces have bars located within the room and are suitable for your wedding breakfast, where you and your guests will enjoy the wonderful food produced by our in-house chefs, or your evening reception, where you can all party the night away before retiring to bed in one of our 23 en-suite bedrooms.

The kitchen team are amazing with dietary requirements, they catered for nut allergies, coeliac, lactose intolerance and vegetarians throughout our day. From canapés, to wedding breakfast, to evening buffet!It didn’t matter what staff member we spoke to, whether is was the wedding team, the catering/bar team, the reception team, or even the night porter! Everyone one was so polite and would stop everything to help you with anything you needed.The venue itself is so well looked after, impeccably clean and tidy, immaculate grounds and the new renovation works are absolutely stunning, yet the venue still has a rustic charm to it. Not to mention all of the rooms smell amazing!!We had so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful venue, lovely staff, the amazing food and the luxurious accommodation. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, we couldn’t have had a better time, which would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the tireless efforts of the fantastic Mulberry House team.We’ll definitely be back for afternoon tea or maybe a romantic night away! We love it there so much!

Mary & Drew Wedding We got married on 01/11/2024, an absolutely amazing day! From the minute we viewed the venue at one of Mulberry's amazing wedding shows we knew IT WAS THE ONE!
The whole process was made so easy with the support from Claire, Jo, Natalie and Chloe, and the lovely ladies on reception were always so helpful if we called. We also had a wedding taster evening to sample the dishes which were all fantastic. Half of the wedding party stayed the evening before and thanks to Faz for looking after everyone with taxis and drinks, he is an outstanding asset to your team. Now onto the wedding day itself .just perfect. Claire was amazing setting the ceremony room up and making the Mulberry Suite look wonderful for the wedding breakfast, we couldn’t have wished for anything more! The food was so good! So many positive reactions from our guests! Especially the soup! Most said it was the best wedding meal they had eaten. The waiting staff and bar staff all fabulous!
